But if Islam is a Religion of Peace, what's the problem?

I'm sure Muslims will take it all with grace and humor. Right?

The cabinet is concerned about a 'provocative' film about the Koran by anti-immigration party PVV leader Geert Wilders which he expects to be shown on tv at the end of January.

The justice, foreign and home affairs ministers, who are worried about a backlash from Islamic countries, have warned Wilders about the risks of screening such a film.

Justice minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin stressed that while Wilders is free to express his views about the Koran, he also has a responsibility towards society in general. 'Think about the what the repercussions could be,' he said.

If the film is hard-hitting, it could evoke hard-hitting reactions against himself and others,' says the minister. Those who want a free debate must show respect for all religions and for things that are sacrosanct for others, he said.

Wilders says it is not the aim of his film to insult people but if they are insulted, that is 'a pity but not my problem'. He says he wants Muslims to realise that the Koran is a 'terrible and fascist' book which inspires people to commit 'terrible' deeds.

The last Dutchman who tried this wound up murdered in the street like an animal. But I'm sure that was just a coincidence. After all, Islam promotes peace....

Viagra to a pedophile? Zut alors!

I don't think I say this enough - I LOVE SARKOZY! Check out his plans for French pedophiles.

'Prisoners of this type, at the end of their sentence, will be examined by a panel of doctors, and if this college of doctors recognises that they are dangerous, they will not be released. They will go to a closed hospital, where they will be treated,' Sarkozy added.

Those who did not accept treatment would stay in the hospital as long as they were considered dangerous, he said. Those who accepted treatment, such as hormonal therapy, would be allowed to leave the hospital with an electronic tag.

The measures would be part of a bill on sentencing planned for November, Sarkozy said, and a raft of measures aimed at improving treatment for psychologically ill prisoners was also in the works.

The first 'closed hospital' dedicated to dealing with paedophiles would open in the eastern city of Lyon in 2009, Sarkozy said. Another establishment would be set up for psychologically ill inmates.

About bloody time we stopped playing games with sex offenders and started locking them up and throwing away the key. It doesn't matter if they've served every remaining second of their sentences - if they are still sick, they still pose a risk to every child they come in contact with.

Case in point is what led Mr. Sarkozy to plan his hospital:

French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Monday pledged tougher treatment for sex offenders following a scandal over a convicted paedophile suspected of raping a 5-year-old boy shortly after his release from prison.

Police said Francis Evrard, a 61-year-old repeat offender who spent 18 years in prison for raping children before being freed on July 2, snatched the boy from a street in the northern town of Roubaix on Wednesday.

The pair were discovered later that day partly clothed in a garage used by Evrard. He said he had been prescribed the anti-impotence drug Viagra while in prison, and officers found a packet of the pills in his pocket.

Sarkozy said Evrard should not have been released so long before the end of his 27-year sentence when the authorities knew he was still dangerous.

And he sure as merde should not have been given Viagra! It's time these sickos were dealt with in the harshest way possible. Vive le Sarkozy!

Sigh.

Religion of Peace Honors Another Woman in the UK

The husband of a pregnant teenager found stabbed to death has been arrested on suspicion of her murder.

The 24-year-old husband of Sana Ali, 17, was arrested by murder squad detectives along with 16-year-old youth.

Mrs Ali and her unborn child both died following the attack at her home in Bury, Greater Manchester, on Friday.

Sana came to the UK five years ago as an arranged bride. She was married six months ago, and had to drop out of her college classes because she became pregnant.

This is not a life. She was a prisoner of her culture, forced to marry and breed when she was no more than a child. She was a prisoner of her marriage: neighbors said they didn't even know there was a young woman living in the house. And now she's dead, her and her baby, stabbed to death in her own "home".

Neighbours said they were shocked by the murder. "They are a quiet family, we rarely saw them," one resident said. "They are Muslim and sometimes they wear traditional dress, but other times they wear Westernised clothing.

"They recently had a large garage converted into a prayer room, and every couple of weeks quite a number of people came to pray. But I never saw a young girl at the house.

"A policeman told me he had interviewed 29 residents in the street and not one had seen a teenage girl or knew one that had recently got married."

She was invisible - her life meant nothing to the people around her, including the one (or ones) who killed her.

Try to spare Sana a thought tonight. Better late than never.

I hope we're doing this, too

But somehow I doubt we are. I hate to think Europe is ahead of us on this. Then again, their problem is more pressing than ours.

Security officials from Europe's largest countries backed a plan Saturday to profile mosques on the continent and identify radical Islamic clerics who raise the threat of homegrown terrorism.

The project, to be finished by the fall, will focus on the roles of imams, their training, their ability to speak in the local language and their sources of funding, EU Justice and Home Affairs Commissioner Franco Frattini told a news conference after a meeting on terrorism.

Mr. Right and I were talking about the idea last night, and trying to figure out how best to infiltrate a mosque. If Islam teaches its adherents to lie to the infidel, how can we trust someone calling themselves "moderate" to go information-gathering for us? And obviously you can't stick a red-headed Irish guy in there and call him a Muslim without him having to prove his street-cred. A (pretend) new convert isn't going to be privy to the real fire-and-brimstone-smite-them-at-the-neck stuff. So short of wiretapping, how do you infiltrate a mosque?

A real God wouldn't have minded....

A Dutch police station trying to help Muslim detainees face Mecca for their prayers painted arrows in cells pointing in the wrong direction.

The Segbroek police station in The Hague borrowed the idea of putting compass marks on ceilings from an Amsterdam hotel, the Dutch daily De Telegraaf reported on Friday.

Muslims pray five times a day, facing east in the direction of Mecca. But the arrows in Segbroek pointed west.

There are 1 million Muslims in the Netherlands. The overall population is 16 million. One has to wonder just how many of those 1 million Sons of Allah are heading to jail that it necessitates painting arrows in the first place. And while we're asking, let's ask why their going to prison, and then decide if criminals are actually worth such apparently limitless accommodation.

I think it's more than just the arrow painters who have lost their sense of direction.

I think it is hilarious: It looks like something really serious and then in the end you see George W. making his most dumbest face ever with the then very ironical "god bless america". You are right: with a president like that you do have a big probIem. Lets hope that idiot gets out asap! I mailed it to all my friends, i think it might become a hit here! thanks for sharing it!

The Beeb can't find a bad spin for bravery

Via LGF:

The corporation has cancelled the commission for a 90-minute drama about Britain's youngest surviving Victoria Cross hero because it feared it would alienate members of the audience opposed to the war in Iraq.

Would those be the same members of the audience who would have rioted has Britain used it's dusty spine to free its sailors instead of humbly accepting them as a "gift"? Would those be the same members of the audience who protest holding signs that say "Behead those who insult Islam"? Because I assure you, it would not be the members of the audience whose fathers and grandfathers fought for Her Majesty themselves. It would not be the average middle-classman who understands that the freedoms they enjoy did not just spring up from a wild mushroom or something.

"The BBC has behaved in a cowardly fashion by pulling the plug on the project altogether," said a source close to the project. "It began to have second thoughts last year as the war in Iraq deteriorated. It felt it couldn't show anything with a degree of positivity about the conflict.

"It needed to tell stories about Iraq which reflected the fact that some members of the audience didn't approve of what was going on. Obviously a story about Johnson Beharry could never do that. You couldn't have a scene where he suddenly turned around and denounced the war because he just wouldn't do that.

"The film is now on hold and it will only make it to the screen if another broadcaster picks it up."

Here's hoping a more patriotic station backs it. The so-called "British" Broadcasting Corporation has no room for the good news out of Iraq. Only the bad.

Religion of Peace - The White Guys

While we're busy arguing over whether or not to racially profile, these guys will be murdering us.

Police in southern Serbia's Sandzak region last month arrested six local Muslims and accused them of belonging to a fundamentalist Wahhabi sect - an austere brand of Sunni Islam promoted by extremists, including the Taliban, Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida fighters.

Recently leaked Western intelligence reports allege that the tense, impoverished area, along with Muslim-dominated regions in neighboring Bosnia, are rich ground for recruiting so-called "white al-Qaida" - Muslims with Western features who could easily blend into European or U.S. cities and carry out attacks.

Al-Qaida and other radical Islamic groups, the reports warn, may be trying to increase their influence in the Muslim-populated regions in the southern Europe to penetrate deeper into the continent.

Many of us have seen this coming for a while. I only hope that the FBI, RCMP, DHS and others have also been tracking it.

I had to shake my head the other day when a colleague was talking about a friend of hers, and how "old world" and "traditional" he was. I asked her if he was Muslim. Her answer?

No, he's Serbian!

Honey, that wasn't what I asked.

I admit, it's easier to keep my eye on the brown men with the beards on the subway platform. It's easier for the cops to do it, too. And while we're doing that, some white Mohammed in a three piece suit is pulling a cord on his briefcase.

We're just not safe anywhere so long as we have Islam, and allow it in our midst.

The Three Little Dhimmis

Unbelievable. The British no longer wait to be forced, threatened, coerced or even asked to subject themselves to the rules of Islam. Instead they race headlong into dhimmitude by tearing away pieces of their own culture and traditions.

Little Red Riding Hood ... Hansel and Gretel ... the Three Little Puppies?

That's what one British school renamed the traditional Three Little Pigs story for a school play, so as not to offend Muslims in the community, London's Daily Mail reported.

Organizers of the children's musical theater performance changed the lyrics' character's names in a move some — including Muslims — are saying went too far.

"The vast majority of Muslims have no problem whatsoever with the Three Little Pigs. It's always been the traditional way of telling the story and I don't see why that should be changed," Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra from the Muslim Council of Britain told the Daily Mail, saying the name change was "bizarre."

The Muslims are laughing at them. What would Churchill think if he saw this suicidal behavior? What must the Queen think?

I must remember, when next we visit my in-laws in Britain, to wear hijab. The locals seem to prefer it.

Why I would be a stay-at-home mom

I'm not the mothering kind, but should I ever breed, there is no doubt I would stay home to raise my kids. And here is yet another good reason why.

Young babies will be assessed on their "crying, gurgling, babbling and squealing" under a new national curriculum for under-fives published today.

Staff in every nursery in England will monitor children from birth on their progress towards a set of 69 Government "early learning goals". These goals cover the skill levels expected of five-year-olds in reading, writing and rudimentary maths.

Parents' groups attacked the new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which will be a legal requirement for all childminders and children's centres from September 2008.

Margaret Morrissey, from the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations, said: "I think it's really sad that we have reached the point now where instead of reducing children's stress we have increased it.

"Will nurseries be worrying more about children reaching these targets than caring for our children?

"It worries me that we are expecting children to reach these targets when they have not even had their first birthday."

Horrific. Kids of the latter generations have already missed out on the real education and love the receive by having a mother at home (or in my case, a Nana). Now those mothers, already feeling guilty for abandoning their kids to daycare, will be made to feel worse if the babies don't squeal at the right pitch. Who comes up with this junk-science?

As one of the commenters of the story put it

Moral: don't put your baby in a nursery; look after it yourself. If you can't do that, it probably means you shouldn't have had the poor mite in the first place.

Remember

On this day three years ago, 191 innocent people were murdered in the name of Allah while they were on their way to work in Madrid. That is Islam. That is the religion of Allah and the Prophet Mohammed.

Remember.

Britain mincing ever closer to dhimmitude

From LGF:

DEMANDS for a ban on "un-Islamic" activities in schools will be set out by the Muslim Council of Britain today.

Targets include playground games, swimming lessons, school plays, parents' evenings and even vaccinations.

And the calls for all children to be taught in Taliban-style conditions will be launched with the help of a senior Government education adviser. Professor Tim Brighouse, chief adviser to London schools, was due to attend the event at the capital's biggest mosque. His presence there was seen as "deeply worrying", and a sign that the report was backed by the Government.

Tory MP Greg Hands said: "The MCB needs to realise it has to move closer to the rest of the community, not away from it. The presence of Tim Brighouse implies Government backing of this report. This is very worrying."

"Worrying" is a typically British understatement. It's disgusting, terrifying, unacceptable, ridiculous and a whole lot of other words, many of them harsher than "worrying". Britain is happily embracing the culture that will destroy them, having already given up and decided it isn't worth fighting to preserve a once-Great Britain.

Flowers in the Attic

Life imitates art in a terrifying way for three Austrian girls.

Three girls who were imprisoned by their mother in a house of indescribable filth for seven years may never recover from the ordeal, experts said last night.

The girls were shut away from the outside world, existing in almost complete darkness, playing only with mice and communicating in their own language.

When they were discovered, their home in a smart, upper middle-class suburb had no running water and was filled with waste and excrement a metre high. The floor was corroded by mice urine.

Some people should not be allowed to have children.

The girls, Viktoria, Katharina and Elisabeth, were rescued only when police broke into the house after a neighbour, who had reported his suspicions several times, threatened a local council official with a lawsuit.

Although that was in October 2005, and the three have been in a specialised therapy centre since, the scandal was only revealed at the weekend.

The mother is now being held in a special remand prison branch for the mentally unstable. She will appear in court in a few weeks on charges of grievous bodily harm and torture, and is facing between five months and five years in prison.

Behold the peace of Islam

A British Muslim called for American and Danish people to be murdered, at a protest against cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad, a court has heard.

Umran Javed, 27, of Washwood Heath Road, Birmingham, took part in the event on 3 February last year after the cartoons were published in Denmark.

Remember, this was over cartoons.

"He said disbelievers would pay a heavy price...and said Denmark would pay with blood," said Mr Perry.

Mr Javed allegedly told his audience to take lessons from the murder of a Dutch film director, who was murdered and the slaughter of Jews.

The defendant allegedly said: "Bomb, bomb Denmark. Bomb, bomb USA."

And Mr Perry claimed the crowd responded to these calls with similar calls and chants.

Religion of Peace, indeed.

If I were ETA....

I have been half-heartedly following the fallout from the recent bombings in Spain by ETA. When I saw today's headline, I just shook my head.

Spain says Eta peace talks 'over'

The peace process between the Spanish government and Basque separatists Eta is "finished" following a bombing in Madrid, Spain's interior minister says.

Really. Is Spain's word good for anything? Since the Islamist bombings of 2004, I would be hard pressed to believe that Spain gives a damn about anything anymore. They so quickly capitualted their elections to rip their troops out of the Middle East, giving the Islamic terrorists what they wanted. If I were ETA, I would make my demands just as clear. Spain has already forfeited its backbone. ETA might as well just grab what they can from the fire sale.
