I used to go to the rallies and meetings. Meier is one of the nicest people you’ll ever know, and I consider Rochelle a friend.
But last night I received an email asking me to protest the Government of Canada’s decision not to admit anti-jihad writer and speaker Dr. Srdja Trifkovic to the country.
Um… I have no reason to protest my government’s not permitting a war criminal to enter my country. We have enough as it is, here on humanitarian grounds as so-called “refugees.” We sure as hell don’t need more coming in.
Don’t get me wrong – I’m on the side of the Bosnians. I think Slobodan Mislosovic did excellent work in ridding the world of Muslims. I only wish he’d managed to kill more of them. But how would the JDL feel if I said the same thing about Mengele? I bet they’d be pretty pissed, and rightly so.
Look, international law being what it is, Canada has a right – nay, an obligation – to shut the door on war criminals. We kept George Galloway out (for a while at least) for funding terror organizations and being involved in Oil For Food. Our counterparts on the left howled and screeched about it, but we did the right thing. Now we’re keeping this Trifkovic character out, and it’s hypocritical to expect the government to yield to the demands of the JDL and friends to let him in.
There are battles worth fighting, but this is a cross I’m not willing to die on.

Who ever said Dr. Srdja Trifkovic was a war criminal? He was never prosecuted as such. He has merely questioned the “official” Western claims of events surrounding the Srebrenica and has questioned by the Islamic Mujahadeen who slaughtered hundreds of not thousands of Serbs in the hamlets surrounding the “safe haven” (safe to attack Serbs) of Srbrenica under the command of Nasir Oric were never prosecuted or condemned. Your post is a bunch of racist trash.

I have met Dr. Trifkovic in person more than once. He is no war criminal, but rather, he is a gentleman, a scholar, and a true hero of free speech. I’d take a bullet for him if I had to.
Just because you call yourself a conservative or a “Girl on the Right” doesn’t mean you are any such thing. You seem more like a “neocon” and not a conservative in any real sense of the word. In other words, you are, for all intents and purposes, a modern-day fascist.
The political arena is no place for the immature, and especially not for those who make a virtue out of their immaturity. The mere fact that you call yourself a “girl” shows an unwillingness to take adult responsibility for fact-checking your (in this case gravely mistaken) assumptions before spewing them forth for the world to see.
Oh, and BY THE WAY, Emir Ramic, the Bosnian jihadi who has been smearing Dr. Srdja Trifkovic, is deeply anti-Semitic. If you don’t want to take Dr. Trifkovic’s word for this, then do your own research on Ramic and his henchmen before you blindly repeat their libelous allegations.
