Of course, bad care isn’t only in the public sector. My father was in a $1300/day private palliative hospital when he died, and the head nurse on staff tied him up to the toilet, because he (the nurse) didn’t have time to stay with my father.
But when it comes to a lack of time and organization, the public sector is the worst. There are more red-tape bureaucrats that need forms filled out than there are doctors and nurses on the front lines treating patients.
And Obama thinks he is doing 330 million Americans a favour by giving them the same access to this kind of “care” with his Cuban-style socialized health plan? He obviously hasn’t visited a UK NHS hospital recently to see just how badly everything is going over there.
