This is what happens when a nation undergoes a “total ban” on handguns (in effect since 1997). While law abiding citizens have been disarmed, the criminals still walk around armed to the hilt. After all, what do they care what the law says?
The insanity is, not even the British Olympic Shooting Team are allowed to practise in Britain! Instead, they scrape together enough money to go to NORWAY, yes, NORWAY, to practise for a few weeks each year. They receive no financial help from the government. The same goveernment, I might add, that expects their own heavily penalized shooting team to win them medals at the 2012 London Oylmpic Games.
Obviously, they get their guns from gun shows in Virginia, just like all the other criminals from NY, DC, and Mexico.
