I have a thousand things swimming around in my head about all this, but I have work to do. I can’t breathe Cordoba day and night, though it seems like I oughta be. So instead, here’s a roundup.
The devils themselves – in the guise of the PR hack @Park51 – sent me this link upon which they are basing their numbers. I haven’t looked into it yet, but I find the estimate of 600,000 Muslims in New York to be a bit high. And I certainly don’t believe that there are that many in Manhattan.
Paul Mitchell rants. I love his rants. They make me smile.
Over at Malkin, Doug Powers takes on Bill Press.
Tea Partiers are like Al Qaeda even though the only thing the Tea Party has in common with 9/11 is that it’s trying to prevent another one. In this case, Press is not condemning an entire group of people for the actions of a few, but rather demonizing an entire group of people for the actions of none of them.
The Tea Party is comparable to the Islamic terrorists who murdered thousands on 9/11, but it’s un-American to criticize a mosque near Ground Zero because to do so is to blame an entire group for the actions of a few? This is hilariously misguided and insane even for Bill Press.
The Muslim Canadian Congress is speaking out against Cordoba House. However, I take pretty much anything Tarek Fatah says with a grain of salt. I don’t trust the guy.
Speaking of taking things with a grain of salt, this is what’s being said on Breitbart’s Big Peace. Since Breitbart pulled a Dan Rather a few weeks ago, it’s best not to swallow everything hook, line and sinker over there. Also, the links don’t work.
Right Wing Nuthouse says pretty much what I said yesterday.
That fake “Islamaphobia” meme makes the rounds once more, in Hartford. What hogwash. A phobia is an irrational fear, as I posted in their comment section. But when someone has stated they want to kill you and destroy your way of life, fearing them is NOT irrational. Islamaphobia is a made up word for a made up problem.
Ok, that’s it for now. Please add links to other stories you’ve seen in the comments. Comments with more than two links get held in the moderation queue.
