
I took this picture last month, from the Staten Island Ferry as we returned to Manhattan. To me it seemed so poignant. The gaping hole where normal life used to be. This picture isn’t significant for what’s in it, but for what’s missing.

I have been reading different posts on my darlin godchild Teddy Maloney. He is so on my mind this week and last after hearing the news of Osama Bin Laden.
This week in NYC there has been a report of remains found after ten years…They are the remains of a 32 year old male…There is no such word as “Closure”…actually a hideous word, but for the sake of this one man’s family, I hope this may bring them some final peace.
