My thoughts are with the entire Maloney family on this 10 year anniversary. I am so sorry for your loss! Teddy and I went to college together, he was one of the warmest people I have ever known. He loved his family and friends and we are all lucky to have had Teddy in our lives and memories. Let the fond memories of Teddy get us through the hard times and his children's laughter bring him back to our hearts.

Beautiful tribute. Cantor was hit so hard - so many wonderful people lost in that tragedy. It's always sad to hear the stories of the babies born without fathers, but you put it so well - they are final tributes to their fathers. I had a few friends that died that day and my fiance lost his college hockey coach so this touched us deeply. What scares me is how people are forgetting what that day is about and the loss we suffered and how this day made heroes of ordinary men. People risked their lives and made very difficult decisions on this day and it is important we remember them with reverence and appreciation. Thank you for this post, Right Girl!

The part about little Mason clutching her daddy's photograph broke me up. For the sake of all those children who lost their parents on 9/11, we must never forget.

I lived across the hall from Teddy our first year at Proctor in Gannett Dorm? Always was kind and funny. His roomate Mike Parks and him used to sneek into my room after I was alseep and take my humidifer during the night. I would wake up and have to take it back. It was hysterical, what was even funnier was I started to lock my humidifer to the heater in my room and I would hide the key. Those two would somhow talk to me during my sleep and find out where I hid the key. The next morning I would wake up no humidifer and I wouldn't remember talking to anyone. There it was though in Teddy and Mike's room. Always had a good time with Teddy. My thought are with his family. Peace Matt
