“Feminism” went under the aegis of the lefties once it evolved from advocating equality for individual women into the realm of identity politics. While conservative women are satisfied to have achieved equality of opportunity, lefty women, and men, always desire to be “more equal”.
The word “feminism” just like the word “liberal” has been hijacked by adults who are emotionally unbalanced because the world has not achieved the Utopia they learned about in Kindergarten. Normal, rational adults now hesitate to call themselves feminist or liberal because the connotations of those words have become distorted, just as the word “gay” has. So real feminism is not actually aligned with the left; and it’s possible to be gay without being homosexual.
The posts over at Tabitha’s are simply the equivalent of angry Kindergarteners with crayons writing dirty words on the wall; the best way to deal with children (albeit in adult bodies) that are misbehaving like this is to ignore them.
