Another day, another psycho with an agenda and a gun. It’s like the Clinton administration all over again, with Oklahoma City, WTC ’93 (sorry for making that sound like a football match), Columbine, Waco etc. So much, so fast.
Barely has the press gotten through with ignoring the story of the Islamic convert who succumbed to Sudden Jihad Syndrome and murdered Pte. William Long in Arkansas, then they now have a whole new story to spin to their little hearts content.
Yesterday, as I was rushing out the door, the news broke that an elderly man had opened fire in the Washington DC Holocaust Museum. You know, that place where 500 kids pass through every day to learn about what happens when hatred of Jews runs amok? An 88-year old man – an American-born German who had fought for the Allies in WWII – had spiraled down into madness and hatred over “the Jews” and “the Niggers”.
James W. Von Brunn was a racist, a conspiracy theorist (a 9/11 Truther, for heaven’s sake – like the crop circles of the 21st Century!) and a madman. Also hated Christians, but I guess that won’t get a lot of press. Yesterday he took the life of (black) security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns.
Von Brunn acted alone on the micro scale, but on the macro level, he’s nothing original. Just the day before his rampage in the Holocaust Museum, President Obama’s preacher, Rev. Wright, went on an anti-Semitic tirade about “them Jews” who were gonna keep him from the president. And while the erstwhile golden boy was on his “It’s All America’s Fault” tour of the Middle East a couple of weeks ago, he spent a lot of time building up the whole “religion of peace” meme in the Muslim countries, only paying lip service to the evil of Ahmedinejad’s wish to wipe Israel off the map. The selfsame Israel that the US government now no longer wants to sell helicopters to, despite decades of reciprocal military trading between the two countries.
Is this all part of a vast conspiracy? No, of course not. It is more like a creeping acceptance in our societies of Judenhass – the hatred of Jews. Here in Canada, for example, if you utter a racial slur about anyone, you are usually fired from your position, especially if it’s a government position. However Sid Ryan, the far-left head of the Ontario branch of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) can call for the banning of Israelis on Ontario campuses, and all he gets are a few angry letters printed in the paper. He doesn’t lose his position. He isn’t asked by his members to step down. Of course not – they agree with him. Them Jews have no place here in Ontario! CUPE’s federal branch try to distance themselves from him, but they make no real effort to call for his resignation.
There is no full-scale call to eliminate the Jews in North America at this time. Yet. Instead, we’re creating a culture that says it’s ok to be anti-Semitic if you are Muslim. It’s ok to hate Israel and everything about it, so long as you say “it’s about Israel, not the Jews”. It’s totally fine to protest outside the shops and offices of high-profile Jews, provided you cloak your Judenhass in the guise of caring for the poor downtrodden Palestinians (who have been treated far worse by their Arabic brethren, but let’s not talk about that, ok?). It’s totally fine to call for anti-Israel demonstrations on campuses, with virulent Arabic anti-Semites frothing at the mouth about “them Jews”, so long as you always refer to Israel as an Apartheid state and say “some of my best friends are Jewish”.
Mr. Von Brunn might have gone off the deep end, but he did what he thought he could get away with in our culture. He attacked a source of Jewish pride – the museum – and killed a “nigger” in the process. Two for the price of one.
When the media is done with this, he will be a) a far-right conservative, b) he will have killed a black man, and c) did I mention he’d be a conservative? The pervasive Judenhass that is creeping its way through our culture like the black death of Passover will be attributed only to Von Brunn, not to the leader of the country, and not to that president’s spiritual leader. It won’t belong to the leftist professors of the universities where the elite left get their degrees. It will belong to James Von Brunn and conservative America. Through some tortured roundabout way this will be our fault. It always is, when the media is involved.
You know, I understand racism, I really do. I understand the frustration, and eventual hatred, felt by indigenous Brits, Germans, French, Dutch etc, as they see their traditions, heritage and culture overrun, marginalized and eventually eliminated by the waves of foreigners that sweep across their nations. I understand how white folk look at the news day after day seeing nothing but young black fatherless men shooting at each and baby mamas sitting in welfare housing watching Oprah while the five children they created with five diferent men run around. I understand how Californians could turn racist as their neighbourhoods, cities and social services are taken over by illegal mexicans. I do not, however, understand racism agains jews. Jews are an asset to what ever nation they exist in. they are the doctors, dentists, actuaries, accountants, CEOs entrepreneurs etc. Not many are in jail and not many are in welfare housing. Anyone who has racist feelings towards jews is probably nothing more than a jealous under achiever. Either that or a sick, irrational jew hating pig.
I think the media is one of the main culprit in this increase in anti-semitism.
When Imus made his stupid comment about “nappy-headed hoes”, he was immediately labelled a racist and lost his job. When Wright talks about “them Jews” he is labelled as “outspoken” or “fiery”.
I think we need to make sure that we always stick the proper label in front of all the left-wing nuts and bigots who are slowly making antisemitism go mainstream.
Let’s make sure we ALWAYS refer to Wright as “the racist Jeremiah Wright”. Let’s refer to Mahmoud Abbas as the “Holocaust-denying Mahmoud Abbas”. Let’s refer to Jimmy Carter as “the terrorists-sympathiser Jimmy Carter, etc…
Eventually, if enough people do that, the labels will stick.
Both comments above are valid and insightful. On the question of race, I read an intriguing article in McLeans magazine recently concerning a young Muslim woman from Pakistan who, during various job interviews, advises the HR manager that she is a Muslim and is required to pray several times a day for five minutes at at time, and could she have a room or private space for her devotions to Mecca? Needless to say, she hasn’t been turned down yet (naturally). The same article states that if an interviewer casually asks an interviewee “where they are from,” it is a violation of the Human Rights Code.
Imagine. We pulverize Canadian history and culture into the ground in the name of “diversity” and “tolerance” while filling up our Dominion with the Third World, but if we dare ask Abdul Al-Jihad Muhammed-Abinijad Rahim where he’s from, its a “human rights” violation. To that, I say “bollocks,” to use a quaint British comment. Bollocks to diversity, bollocks to multicultuiralism, bollocks to political correctness, and above all, bollocks to anyone regardless of where they come from, who take advantage of everything Canada has to offer while despising everything that Canada is. And before I forget, “Bollocks” to the liberal politicians that destroyed the Domonion of Canada by turning it into a facist state where freedom of speech is now a crime for anyone who deason’t vite Liberal.
