You’re not going to believe this, but I was banned from my own website. My host detected a security breach in that I upload items via FTP from here in Toronto, but my helpful site administrator does the same from Florida. So they banned one of the IP’s – MINE!
So I’m talking fast, before the problem rears its ugly head again.
Tomorrow I will be on the Michael Coren Show alongside Ezra Levant and Sid “I hate the Jews” Ryan. Should be fun – I hope Sid wears a cup. Especially since one of the proposed topics is Teh Jooooozz.
I’ve been the token Canadian on a few American radio shows this week, talking about the evils of socialized medicine. Last night I chatted with Tabitha Hale. The podcast is up at the Smart Girl Politics site. I’ve also taped with Patriot Byte, which you can hear on RFCRadio.com at 4:30pm EST tomorrow.
Even the HuffPo isn’t happy with Obama’s appeasement to Muslim nations. I hope to write more on this soon – if my host lets me!
That said, maybe feminism isn’t all it’s cracked up to be:
Despite sexual and marital liberation, massively increased career opportunities and earning power, educational privileges and the wholesale demolition of the inhibiting conventions that restricted the lives of women in the past, today’s women report themselves as feeling a low sense ‘of life satisfaction and well-being’.
Well, men might be entitled to retort, welcome to the real world, sweethearts.
Yeah, no shit. It might be “liberating” to take women out of the home and let them shuffle paper in a cube farm somewhere, but there are natural responsibilities (childbirth, breastfeeding) that can’t be outsourced to a husband or a nanny. Face it babe – you have a uterus.
The CRTC is going to leave the Internet alone – for now, anyway. They’re not going to take the Chinese approach to moderating content. How nice.
“While broadcasting in new media is growing in importance, we do not believe that regulatory intervention is necessary at this time,” said Konrad von Finckenstein, Q.C., Chairman of the CRTC. “We found that the Internet and mobile services are acting in a complementary fashion to the traditional broadcasting system. Any intervention on our part would only get in the way of innovation.”
Ok, I’d better dash before my site host discovers that I’m posting from this wicked IP address. I hope to be back soon!

Oh, I have to watch Coren! Please, please — both you and Ezra — tear that Irish thug a new you-know-what!
Feminism died thirty years ago. ‘Feminists’ today are simply another academic group of radical socialists, and that’s only because the girls want a ‘big daddy’ government to take care of them to replace their failed relationships with real men.
Hi Wendy,
Let me first say, I love your cheery forwardness and outright chutzpah. I smile when I watch you in action or just read about some of your comments.
Re: Sid Ryan.. in my opinion of courese the man is an anti-Semite. Ezra knows that, most Jews know that except one cannot really call him an anti-Semite because then he gives a stupid argument why he is not one and we are all tired of having Sid defend himself with pure nonsensical explanations. Seemingly to me, Ryan is so good to the Jew who was a victim, but G-d forbid the Jew defends himself. I liked what you said on the Coren show, but really, no one says it like Ezra Levant. He pulls no punches and doesn’t dance around Sid or Michael Coren for that matter. Ezra doesn’t even try to put words “nicely” in place. Truly, I gave Ezra a standing ovation in my own living room:) As for you, Girl on the Right…
you were too polite on that show…but you did manage to pull some punches as well:)
