Again with the sheep? Clearly, the sockies haven’t read Steyn’s latest book, wherein it’s explained that the sheep-shaggery was the Ayatollah Khomeini’s shtick. The holy one was consumed by questions of post-coital etiquette, specifically, was it acceptable to consume the ovine object of one’s desire following sexual congress with it? Employing that “tone” that the B.C. “human rights” ‘roos found so distasteful, Steyn dared to spoof the Ayatollah’s woolly-headed edicts—something that’s not allowed in lands where sharia (and a “human rights” apparatus) calls the shots.

In the United Kingdom, the Daily Telegraph is today reporting that a British mother who has been deemed “too stupid” to take care of her premature baby and the complex care required by the newborn. Her baby is going to be placed for adoption, and she will be forbidden to see the child, despite the fact that a psychiatrist has deemed that the mother has an intellectual capacity clearly in the normal range. Out of desperation, and with unbearable disappointment in her country, the Nottingham mother, who can only be identified as “Rachel” is now taking her case to the European Court of Human Rights. That strategy may prove unwise, but what choice does a private citizen have when the state determines one’s fitness to raise one’s own offspring? Is this a situation that we want here in Canada? Is it impossible to conceive of individuals being deemed “too stupid” by the state to be allowed to reproduce, or “too stupid” to be capable of having a meaningful life?

I find it profoundly troubling that the state, whether it is the United Kingdom of Great Britain or the Dominion of Canada (yes we ARE a dominion), young children can be removed from their parents whose opinions on race or religion dare to deviate from the state sanctioned religion of political correctness. As far as I am aware, both nations are still widely regarded as democratic states, at least on paper. Yet it would appear that the democratic rights of at least some parents are being blatantly violated in the name of “tolerance.”
I believe that the question should be, who decides what “tolerance” is and what specifically we should be tolerating and not tolerating? Who sets the standards on what is acceptable or unacceptable parenting, specifically when it concerns the opinions and/or beliefs that parents pass on to their children? If local and national governments are now in the habit of removing children from parents whose views offend the sensibilities of the political correct,then freedom of speech is well and truly dead. Perhaps most worrying of all is encroachment of government interference in our private lives. If this trend continues, then freedom of speech will quickly become the privilege of the politically correct. Thus, those who dare to express sentiments that fall outside “accepted” boundaries may on day find themselves incarcerated.
It is odd, that in the twenty years that Canada and most other western democracies have surrendered to the pseudo-intellectual monstrosity called political correctness, we have allowed our rights and freedoms to be steady eroded to the point that Wendy, Mark and Kathy, our defenders of free expression, live under the constant threat of prosecution from those who demand “tolerance.” The tyranny that has been wrought upon us by those who dare to demand “tolerance” (even in our thinking processes) is leading us down the dark path to facism. I shall continue on this subject in another post.
When the State can just seize children for ideological or intelligence reasons. Its time to realize your a slave.

I fear that Revnant Dream has raised a very valid point, which steers us into a minefield called ‘Immigration.” The Multicultural Act, that odious document spirited in by the former prime minister, Brian Mulroney reads thus:
a) Benefit and promote the understanding that multiculturalism reflects the cultural and racial diversity of Canadian society and acknowledges the freedom of all members of Canadian society to preserve, enhance and share their cultural heritage;
b) recognize and promote the understanding that multiculturalism is a fundamental characteristic of the Canadian heritage and identity and that it provides an invaluable resource in the shaping of Canada’s future;
c) promote the full and equitable participation of individuals and communities of all origins in the continuing evolution and shaping of all aspects of Canadian society and assist them in the elimination of any barrier to such participation;
d) recognize the existence of communities whose members share a common origin and their historic contribution to Canadian society, and enhance their development;
e) ensure that all individuals receive equal treatment and equal protection under the law, while respecting and valuing their diversity;

In short, this unspeakable monstrosity has assured us all that Canada must not, under any circumstances, develop, maintain or celebrate a single unifying sense of national identity. When asked the question, “what is the Canadian identity,” most Canadians give a vacant shrug of the shoulders. After all, why bother if hordes of immigrants can come here from the Third World and keep their language, culture, religious practices, cultural dress and general way of life without having to committ themselves to actually becoming Canadian. Forget about “national identity.” It’s such an “elitist” concept, or so the liberals tell us. Canada, a land built almost exclusively by Europeans, changed dramatically after the notorious Pierre Elliott Trudeau became prime minister in 1968. It was he, a spoiled, wealthy, pampered playboy who refused to fight for his country in World War II, who opened the country to mass Third World immigration, massive taxation and close ties with Cuba and the former USSR. He further appeased the treacherous separatists in Quebec by forcing the French language onto the entire nation, threw out imperial our measurements system in favour of metrification, thinking that somehow Canada would be accepted without question as a member of the now disastrous European Union. We could go on about Trudeau the calamitous, but his legacy has virtually completely ruined this Dominion.
The CBC, the official voice of the Wizard of Oz, assures us that immigration is absolutely essential for the country’s survival. Unfortunately, Trudeau’s dream, aided and abetted by Mulroney, has not resulted in the harmonious multicultural dream where everybody loves everbody else and terrorists wouldn’t dream of harming us. Instead, we have immigrant hell holes (Toronto), violent gun totting ethnic gangs, hiring quotas, affirmative action,blatant abuses of government assistance, immigrant groups that refuse to learn English or French (or both), refuse integrate and demand their own closed communities and laws (Sharia), Chinese gangs fighting Vietnamese gangs, Korean gangs fighting both the former, Jamaican gangs shooting it out over drug turf, Tamil gangs killing each other in Scarborough, Tamil Tiger supporters blocking major highways for days on end, Indian businessmen defrauding the government out of millions of dollars worth of bogus GST claims, Pakistani youths fighting it out with Indian youths during stampede week in Calgary and white, self-hating liberals baming themselves for creating a “culture of exclusion” (Paul Martin), thus failing to help the poor, beleagured immigrants to fully integrate and “belong.” Indeed, with the reappearance of diseases and viruses in Canada, thanks to our ever increasing Third Wolrd population, we of European stock with either disappear altogether due to low birth rates, or die from Bubonic plague.
My own remedy to our out-of-control immigration situation is fairly simple. Shut down all Third World immigration. Track down and deport all 41,000+ illegal immigrants and bogus asylum seekers on the lose here, deport those immigrants who refuse to learn English or French and demand to live in separate communities with their own laws, stop all affirmative action and preferential hiring practices.
Immigration should favour those with the skills and education that we need. Granted, there are lots of IT specialisst in India and China who want to come here, but what about our own? What about white Europeans whose countries are currently under seige by growing Islamification? What about white South Africans and Rhodesians (Zimbabweans) who are being thrown off their land and out of their own countries by deranged lunatics like Robert Mugabe? What about the highly trained nurses, doctors, even police officers from the UK (a country rapidly going down the toilet) who would love to come to Canada?
How about banning abortion? After all, if we stop killing 100,000+ Canadian babies every year, we won’t be so badly off. Since 1967, we have systematically murdered 3.5 million unborn children in Canada. That is an entire generation of Canadians. Yet we replace them with the Third World and give Henry Morgentaler – our most notorious mass murderer – the highest civil award in the land. Have we completely lost our minds?
We have become a nation of tribes and languages instituted by politically correct apartheid. A nation that tries to be all things to all people, but in doing so we have become nothing. A eunuch, castrated by liberalism and multicultural madness. We dwell in a fools paradise ruled by political correctness and smug know-nothing political elites who despise and silence dissenting voices through “hate crime” legislation, “human rights” kangaroo courts and the perpetual vilification of those who dare to stand on the right of politics.
They are beginning to push us too far. The rise of the right in Euroope is only the beginning. Do not ever think that it will not happen here in Canada. Liberal elites beware.

Gee, I have to disagree. What is it with children of Holocaust survivors that they are more sensitive to these types of issues. Oh, I don’t mean all children of Holocaust survivors, I don’t generalize. I know an awful lot of people, especially children of survivors that had their roots in Poland. For some reason, we can see the state intervening on issues of kids going to school with a swastika on their arms and/or hands or wherever. It does not mean we are stupid people, it just means our entire upbringing was so very different. No family, no cousins to play with in our youth. We witnessed our parents adopting their friends as “family”. Very different world. Family reunion? What the hell is that? I sure as heck do not want a family reunion with my family… most of them have rotted.
