A child sex offender was stabbed to death in a ‘ferocious’ attack in which his genitals were mutilated.
Andrew Cunningham was found naked and soaked in blood at his caravan home in Wandsworth, south London.
The 52-year-old, who had been jailed for raping a girl under 13, was recently accused of molesting a two-year-old.
Perhaps if he’d been given more than a four month stint in the clink, the public wouldn’t have felt the need to do the court’s work for them. Just sayin’.

Can you explain to me why this is a shame? He got what he deserved. Anybody who attacks a 2-year-old child does not deserve the right to live. At least now he can’t hurt any other child.
You will find it despicable of me, but I have a hard time generating any sympathy for this pervert.

There is a good reason why courts very typically treat a vigilante much more harshly than they treat the original perp and its a good one. The damage to a civilization is much worse when you allow people to be judge jury and executioner. As galling as that is to all of us, we have to live with it for our own good.
Having said that, the courts in the west have demonstrated an astonishing degree of lack of interest in the law abiding people of western nations for the past few decades. So what i say above doesn’t really apply in the same way anymore.
When courts and the justice system and most notably the police employ tactics like FIDO (fuck it and drive on when its an ‘ethnic minority’ committing the crime) for example vigilantism is inevitable. A Canadian judge once said “Justice must not only be done but must also seem to be done.” I think I begin to understand the phrase. As justice in any meaningful sense becomes eroded by political correctness and special laws and conditions for various groups each will seek to find justice for himself as the state fails them. Perhaps this is what Mark Steyn refers to as ‘civilizational exhaustion’. Or perhaps its leftism run amok. Its certainly the death knell for what we had recently. The most miraculously fair free and decent place the world had ever seen for human habitation. I guess good things just can’t last.
