In fact it’s the white guys they hate, but they set a very dangerous precedent. Anyone can now challenge this precedent to say that fundraising for anything – from tsunamis to sikle-cell – is too divisive and should be scrapped. Disgusting.
The sad thing is that this effects women too. A dear friend of mine had a daughter that suffers from it (she was one of my softball players back when I coached, and wasn’t supposed to play, but did, and EXCELLED!) If you go to the wikipedia page on CF you will find that the first photograph of a victum is that of a young black female.
