KU tends to be a lot more snooty. K-State is more a stronghold of the working class and agriculture oriented. I know my son and daughter-in-law prefered it there. They are now a Medical Doctor/engineer and a teacher, respectively. Sometime you need to go to Kansas State University in Manhattan Kansas to get a better look at the more down to earth young people of our state. KU tends to be a lot more snooty.
