The Mark Steyn drinking game

If I had a shot of tequila for every time he referenced Waziristan

Seriously… ask Steyn to mention a far-flung place, or a terrorist hangout, or something more remote than his home in New Hampshire, and the answer will inevitably be Waziristan.

  1. OK, I’ll play:

    Sinatra

    Nigella Lawson

    Jerome Kern

    “vainglorious buffoon”

I can’t find it now, of course, but my favourite Steyn/Hewitt transcript bit looked something like this:

Steyn: “So and so was swanning about like some jumped up nancy boy.”
    Hewitt: “Oh.”

  2. PS: I don’t recommend trying to track down that transcript by googling “Mark Steyn” “Hugh Hewitt” and “nancy boy”. Very bad things happen.

  3. God, where is my head at today…?

We can’t forget “James Bond” :-)

Geez Kathy, it’s a pity you don’t drink anymore… you could play this one all by yourself!!

He refers to Stevie Wonder’s song for Obama. A major scale is not a song. Pretty weak for Stevie. Even he ‘sees’ it doesn’t take much content to please an Obamatron.

Still love ya Girl. I’d make a contrabution, but I’m waiting to go on welfare if Obie wins. Then I’ll send you some taxpayer dollars.

  6. Right Girl says:

Thanks Wordy. I’ll still be in the US, and will be happy to receive those Yankee buck.

  7. Ironical, ain’t it? :-)

Another thing I forgot was the fancy music theory stuff about bars and measures etc. that always makes me feel so hick-y.

    Don’t forget Gazillion

    One word: Panjandrum

I hate when I spell words wrong.

All I meant by bringing up the Stevie Wonder thing is Obama supporters can be easily bullshitted. He’s a bullshitter. They believe his bullshit, or they are committed Leftists and know he’s just sounding moderate to take control for the revolution.

Glad you are in the US RG, you can feel what it’s like to be warm.

I don’t think I want to know what that means…”Panjandrum”!?
