Nearly two-thirds of Egyptian men admit to having sexually harassed women in the most populous Arab country, and a majority say women themselves are to blame for their maltreatment, a survey showed Thursday.
The forms of harassment reported by Egyptian men, whose country attracts millions of foreign tourists each year, include touching or ogling women, shouting sexually explicit remarks, and exposing their genitals to women. “Sexual harassment has become an overwhelming and very real problem experienced by all women in Egyptian society, often on a daily basis,” said the report by the Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights.
Egyptian women and female visitors frequently complain of persistent sexual harassment on Egyptian streets, despite the socially conservative nature of this traditional Muslim society.
Shocked, I tells ya.

I have a friend from Egypt who is Coptic Orthodox (one of the Egyptian Christians who is angry that their whole culture got taken away from them). She says you can’t even go on a bus in Egypt without getting groped by at least one muslim man.
You know, all religions are pretty much the same blah blah blah…
I can’t say I’m surprised, where ever Islam is practiced women are victimized as sexual property.
Sexual abuse by Arabs seems to be a treasured cultural practice, perhaps teaching females from the age of three and up how to rip off a man’s penis when he exposes it to a female would lower the stats?
The easily available pornography on the internet coupled with a society that harshly punishes women, not the men of course, for violation of unreasonable ‘moral’ codes, is a combination that can kinda drive men a little wacky.
They ain’t getting any, and sperm is backing up on a normally logical brain.
