You might find it very enlightening to listen to all 4 hours on Vancouver’s CKNW today, from 3 – 7pm. You can do so here. In the first half hour you’ll hear Mr. Awan state that he speaks for the majority of Muslims in B.C. He doesn’t. Toward the end of the program you’ll hear a Muslim man and then a Muslim woman call in to express how embarrassed they are by the likes of Awan.

You absolutely have the right to say whatever you want and I will always defend your right but in talking in generalities about “us and them”, you just play into the hands of those trying to stamp out our free speech.
