For some strange reason, the “new” and terribly unimproved Western Standard has decided that serial stoner Marc Emery is what they classify as a “libertarian”. So they have an article by him on – of all things – abortion.
A stoner’s girlfriend gets knocked up and has an abortion. This is news? This is libertarianism?
I think I can safely take the Western Standard off my bookmarks list. They are not the site I used to belong to, that’s for sure.

I have to agree. Whenever I see the Standard refer to Gerry Nicholls as a credible political pundit I cringe.
The WS blog sucks now …non controversial or revealing…and I’m certain the new owner will give up your personal data to anybody at the first wiff of a law suit.
Say what you want about Emery, he walks his talk, unlike you or Kate, Steyn or any number of “conservative” hypocrites.
